Polka Theatre is the only theatre in the UK aimed exclusively at younger audiences (ages 0-13). In terms of innovation, they are well known for their work entertaining the very young. From the age of 9 months, children can take part in workshops.
On the 11th October, it is Polka Theatre’s 30th Birthday and to celebrate they are holding a day of fun and games for absolutely free. Children will be able to contribute to a huge birthday card, eat cake, hear stories and take part in games around the building. There will also be a magician to entertain young minds. There will also be an exclusive opportunity to gain a sneak-peek of their Christmas show for 1-5yr olds, as the cast will be holding an open rehearsal.
The event runs from 1-5pm, with the cake cutting taking place at 4.30pm. A special guest will also be present.
