Designer Rachel Riley lives a life that most of us can only imagine, dreaming up vintage inspired children’s collections from a 16th Century Chateau in France.
Her children’s clothing line was first conceived when the British born designer used traditional smocking and knitting techniques to create clothing for her own kids. She now has her own stores in London and New York. Based in the Loire Valley in France, Rachel Riley Kids clothes draw heavily
on rural ideals and vintage looks. Her collections also focus on textures, tailoring and fine needlework techniques including embroidery. Her current summer range is perfect for this seasons ‘home-spun’ look. Following the Rachel Riley for kids a women’s wear line was introduced in 1997.
