When it comes to charismatic and imaginative, Jude takes the prize. Our male model from our February Magazine shoot was as much an art director as he was model, and came up with some great ideas, sometimes even before our team had.

So what other photoshoots have you done?

I just did a book cover for The Horse Whisperer, which was the coolest shoot I have done so far because there were horses and it was at a farm. I’ve also done M&S, Debenhams, Joules and Junior Magazine.

What is your favourite thing you have worn today?

The outfit I wore the blue sunglasses with, the blue sunglasses are the best, I want a pair so bad! (Jude wore Aqua Marine Wayfarer Sunglasses by RayBan with RALPH LAUREN Orange and Blue Check Swim Shorts and some RALPH LAUREN Polos)

What is the best joke that you know?

What does the snowman eat for breakfast?

(I don’t know, carrots?)

No! Snowflakes!

What is your favourite place to go on Holiday?

The Headland Hotel in Newquay, where they filmed the movie version of Roald Dahl’s book “The Witches”

What was your favourite part of the shoot so far today?

I loved the part where we were in the boat, it was so fun to run around it and climb in and out and Jo (the photographer) let us see the pictures after and it looks sooo cool!

What is your favourite thing in the world to eat?

Whatever you call Sunday lunch – I love everything that is a part of Sunday Lunch!

What would you like to be when you grow up? A model?

No, I want to be buy and sell cars

Cars? What kind of cars?

Like 80s and 90s cars, I like the shape of cars from that era

So what kind of car would you want when you grow up then?

Like a 1992 Ford Escort in black

That’s quite specific! What makes you choose a ford escort?

I just like the shape of it!

Yesterday, we spent the day on our February magazine photoshoot. With only two models, we were able to spend a lot of time with the kids and with such an exciting and child friendly set, we had a lot of fun on the day!

Maya was first to arrive on set and with the genes of a French dad and Scandinavian mum, she was by far one of the most photogenic children we’ve ever met. Not to mention sweet and professional!

We chat with Maya and her mum during Maya’s shooting breaks to find out a little bit more about this charming girl.

How Long Have You Been Modelling For?

*looks at mum who whispers in her ear,  10 months!

What is the best thing about being a model?

It’s fun

What is your favourite thing about today so far?

Um the best thing is that I get to keep a butterfly and an elephant so far (props from the photoshoot) and they are making more (she says this excitedly gesturing over the props girls who at the time are struggling to erect a large paper boat, big enough to fit two 8 year olds inside)

What would you like to be when you grow up? A Model?

Maybe, but I think I want to be a vet, because I love animals!

Do you have any animals?

Yes, I have two Norwegian forest cats named Gandal and Veda they are so huge and they look like little lions – they are not very good at sleeping in because they wake us up every morning!

What is your favourite animal?

Jaguar!

What is the coolest place that you have travelled and what is the best animal you have seen on your travels?

Well I guess today I travelled to Africa and saw some elephants *she says this with a cheeky grin

What was your favourite outfit from today?

The one I was wearing with all the butterflies pinned on to me because I loved all the bright colours and the flower sunglasses were the best!

And what is your favourite thing to wear at the weekend?

I like things with sparkles, my favourite shirt has a gold sparkly bow on the front, it’s so nice.

As the photoshoot commenced for our AlexandAlexa.com Christmas Magazine, our set quickly filled up with wonderful winter props and marvellous mini models.

We were happy to see some familiar faces including one mini model, Taylor, who had been on our SS11 Lookbook Photoshoot a few months ago. We had come to know Taylor as the ‘shy one’ from our last shoot, but this time, perhaps feeling more comfortable in the familiarity of it all, Taylor was quite suddenly very charismatic and outgoing .

Taylor and her partner in crime, mini model Sophie (who was on our set for the first time), were sweet as can be together and we thought doing the mini model interview in pairs would be much more fun, after all, two heads are better than one right? Especially two charming photogenic heads!

What do you like about these clothes?

Taylor:  I like them as they are Christmassy and pretty to wear.

Sophie: They are really grown up.

What is your favourite outfit that you wore today?

Taylor: The red trousers outfit, I really liked the hat. (D&G Red Trousers, CHLOE Pleated White Shirt and D&G Red Bobble Hat)

Sophie: I really wanted to wear the fur coat by Rachel Riley. I loved it, I even asked my mum to buy it but she wouldn’t!

Who is your favourite musical artist?

Taylor: Tinchy Stryder

Sophie:Miley Cyrus and N-Dubz

What is your favourite food?

Taylor: Spaghetti Bolognese! Yum. I am hungry can I have a croissant?

Sophie: cucumber and chicken korma….but not together

What type of clothing do you wear at the weekend?

Taylor: My white Ralph Lauren polo top and jogging bottoms. I like to be comfy and run around.

Sophie: Uggs and leggings and a nice top.

What is your favourite colour?

Taylor: Baby blue

Sophie: Blue

Do you have any hobbies?

Taylor: I do Karate!

What is happening at school today?

Taylor:  It is children in need today so my school is having a fête and face painting.

Sophie: You are lucky I am doing literacy. Boring.

What is the most boring shoot you have done?

Taylor: I had to do a fitting for an Italian magazine the other day and they were all speaking Italian so I couldn’t understand them and I just had to stand there for ages.

What is the best shoot you have done?

Taylor: This one!

Sophie: yea, this one! I like playing with the snow but the fog machine scares me a bit.(

During our Spring Summer Lookbook photoshoot a few weeks ago, we met a very charismatic fellow on set, 7 year old mini model, Arthur Allen, who set us into stitches with his witty banter and clever quips.

Photogenic, charming and interesting, we wanted to know more about the little boy in the white Hugo Boss suit. So our child friendly reporter sat down with this clever little character to have a chat.

How Many Languages Do You Speak?

Just one, but I dabble in some French Canadian sometimes.

French Canadian, Eh? How do you dabble in that?

I have a friend at school that speaks French and is Canadian, well French Canadian, so he speaks French Canadian.

That’s pretty cool, what can you say in ‘French Canadian’?

Bonjour! (he says with a somewhat Jean Chretien-esk accent) and Poutine! (poutine is chips with gravy and cheese…very tasty and very French Canadian, a thing you could only possibly know about if you are Canadian, have a Canadian friend, or have visited the great provience of Quebec….this young fellow has proven himself).

How long have you been modelling and what made you decide to be a model?

I started modelling when I was three because my mum wanted me to do it, but I like it, it is fun.

What is the best thing about being a model?

Seeing the pictures after (he says this as he cheekily peers at the lap top behind us where the recent photos of himself with truly French mini model Cara are being reviewed..then grins), see they look good!

What is your favourite outfit you wore on the last Alexandalexa.com photoshoot and why?

This white suit (HUGO BOSS SS11), it was so cool

What kinds of clothing do you like to wear at the weekend?

DJ style

What is DJ Style?

Like how a DJ dresses, in bright colours and cool shirts and stuff, really casual but cool

What is your favourite kind of music and who is your favourite artist?

I like Pop, likeCee Lo Green and Tinie Tempah

What is your favourite song?

Dynamite by Taio Cruz (breaks into song while pointing at the various name brand clothing he is wearing) “I’m wearing all my favourite brands, brands, brands, brands…”

What is your favourite animal and why?

Duck billed platypus because they are funny.

What do you want to be when you grow up, and why?

A footballer or an animal saver, or maybe both, they both would be fun.

What is your favourite subject in School and why?

Science, because when I’m in college I’ll get to do potions like Harry Potter, only real….
