On the cover of this month’s W Magazine is Katherine Heigl and her daughter with musician Josh Kelley, Naleigh.
This issue of W is not only amazing for its editorial shots and the fashionable clothing (for which we sent in a Paul Smith shirt) in it, but also for the story it tells, about the ‘New Normal’, the range of family structures that are now accepted, and how today, Katherine and Naleigh are just another mother and daughter, and aside from mama’s star power, are somewhat unremarkable.
Twas a cold and rainy afternoon when our Social Media Manager, Holly, and our Photography Assistant, Jodie, braved the great outdoors to attend the Caramel Baby & Child Press day.
In true fall fashion, upon their exit from the busy South Kensington tube, the skies opened, ruining their oh-so-fashionable outfits.
Upon arrival, and despite looking a bit like wet rats, Holly and Jodie were greeted by the kindest of Caramel Baby & Child shop keepers who let them in from the cold to view the SS11 collection.
Despite being small, the collection was cute as could be, with classic CB&C patterns and colours including hues of blues, greens, beiges, dusty pinks and greys.
The inside of the shop itself was also amazing, with vintage looking homely decorations and stylish little outfits made up throughout the store. There were also a number of the displayed items from AlexandAlexa.com’s own AW10 selections and upcoming SS11 selections.
After taking their fair share of photos and thanking the shop keeper for her time, they trundled out into the rain and back to the AlexandAlexa.com offices to bring these lovely photos to you.
