CHRISTMAS PHOTOSHOOT: Behind the Scenes

Twas’ a classically cold English day, and barely November, when we set ourselves up to do the Christmas photoshoot.

Barely recovered from their sugary Halloweens, the mini models arrived with plenty of energy, and now that they had been there and done that with spooky season, they were keen to move on to the holiday season as they excitedly chat amongst themselves about wish lists and Christmas trees and literally dug through the boxes of fake snow.

With baby models Monty and Coco, and Mini Models Taylor, Sophie, Theo and George, we all had lovely company on set and quickly got into the Christmas spirit.

The annual EA British Academy Children’s Awards were held last night at the Park Lane Hilton in London.

We took part in the event by dressing young British actor, Asa Butterfield.

Asa, who plays Norman Green in  Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, attended the event in support of the film.

Asa’s newest Co-star, Chloe Moretz, whom he is in the midst of filming Martin Scorsese’s Hugo Cabret with, attended the event as well, dressed in a stunning Chanel Resort dress.

Though Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang lost to feature film Up, the night was still great fun for all who attended.

John Galliano designs another tree for Claridges

John Galliano has curated Claridges Christmas tree again this year. Last year, he described his creation as “A Frozen Tropical Christmas Tree” creating a snow scene inspired piece with a tropical twist which was white and metallic blue and included birds, a handmade leopard, several parrots and a dragonfly perched amongst its branches.

This year, inspired by the ocean, Galliano has created his “Under the Sea” Christmas tree complete with sea horses, anemones, starfish and jelly fish, and silver leaves which twinkle under the lights.

Unveiled today, the tree will be on view for the public and guests until the 5th of January.
