These cookies are great to make and easy to bake. They are a classic recipe and everybody who loves pecans and cookies will love these!

What You Will Need

½ tsp Baking Powder

1 cup Caster Sugar

1 Egg, lightly beaten

30 Pecan Nuts

2 ½ cups Plain Flour

6 oz/ 185 g Unsalted Butter, softened

2 tsp Vanilla Essence

What To Do

1. Preheat oven to 356ºF / 180ºC

2. Beat butter and sugar until pale

3. Beat in eggs and vanilla

4. Sift in flour and baking powder

5. Stir well

6.  Place teaspoon sized ball onto a lined baking tray

7. Gently press pecans into the centre of the biscuit

8.  Bake for 10 minutes or until golden
