Burberry Goes 3D

If you thought 3D was limited to your Imax visits with the kids, think again. Burberry is set to stream its AW10 fashion

show in 3D format during London fashion week.

Fashionistas across the globe will be able to rock out their ever-so-flattering 3D specs to watch the label’s AW10 catwalk.

This is the first time any fashion brand has tried a live 3D broadcast and Burberry has teamed up with SKY TV to utilise its

3D technology for the innovative project.

Much like the victoria secret fashion show, the footage will includ pre-show entertainment hosted from behind the scenes,

backstage footage and red carpet arrivals.

Burberry will also live stream its show in 2D at http://live.burberry.com , where viewers can watch and

comment on the show in real time using their Facebook and Twitter accounts.

It will be interesting, if nothing else, , although we can’t imagine what Burberry’s Classic Haymarket Check

will look in 3D…
